Short Message: Bush Fires and Floods
We noticed that overseas there are some worries about our situation with regard to the terrible bush fires (Victoria) and floods (North Queensland). We can tell you that we are safe and located on a long distance from both. In our area (Southern Queensland) the weather is sunny with daily temperatures above 30 degrees and a bit rain so now and then.
Nevertheless the bushfires are immense, massive and a big tragedy with a growing number of people killed and many houses and areas destroyed. Overview stories and pictures can be found here:
